UGS is focusing on the discovery of CBM and Oil shale also exploitation of Oil shale deposit. The company currently has one Oil shale deposit with 3 blocks located in Nalaikh and Tuv province area, Mongolia. Our project is located 45-100 km southeast of Ulaanbaatar and covering totally 730,000 hectare area with good infrastructure including railway, high voltage electricity, paved road, and water resources.
MONGOLIAN OIL SHALE RESERVE
Preliminary study over 93 deposit covering 9 basins or 312,000 sq.km of terrain reveals 788 Billion tons of oil shale which is estimated to be in the 19% of Mongolian oil shale reserve.
